Re: Signal generator.
开云体育I have hacked up a generator. I hope this is the latest? Uses Raduino or RaduinoX and Rotery Encoder. See if it works? Mike, WA6ISP On 11/5/2017 9:21 AM, Brent Seres

Signal generator.
Hi all
I now have a spare radio which I would like to use to put together a little signal generator. No point in regards inventing the wheel if anyone already has a simple sketch I could use. I have Mike's excellent upgrade, so was going to use the original radio for this. Thanks Brent |

Re: 2A amperage draw on TX, but no RF out
Q13 is an mmbt3904. ?

It runs hot, a 2n3904 would be a better choice if replacing it as the leaded version can dissipate more heat. But there's a hundred different parts that might reduce power on you like that, you won't do much good just shotgunning every part in the transmit path. I suggest you check all the DC values around Q13, and not rip that transistor off the board unless the base and emitter voltages look wrong when pressing the PTT switch: ? ? /g/BITX20/files/K7AGE/BITX40%20Voltage%20Measurments.pdf Here's another thread on debugging the transmitter.: ? ? ? /g/BITX20/message/31352 Jerry On Sat, Nov 4, 2017 at 06:19 pm, John Higgins wrote:

Re: Display trim.
开云体育I have a 3D printed Bezel as addition to the RaduinoX "better" Raduino. It comes with some Flat Head metric screws, and additional plastic standoffs and screws. There all also spacers
to hold it squarely behind the front panel. It fits the standard 1602 LCDS.?? I sold a half dozen to members of this group. $3 if shipped with RaduinoX, $5 if by its self. On 11/5/2017 4:57 AM, G1WDF wrote:

开云体育I made one, with an X-Acto knife, and some of the plastic from a Wendys salad dish. ??
It wasn't the thin stuff, it was about a millimeter thick, and just the right consistency for this job.

I've had an hour browsing the old posts looking for a source for a trim panel to go around the standard bitx40v3 display.
No luck finding anything. Does anyone have source for such an item? They seem to available from photos in the photos section. A UK source would be ideal. Cheers, Richard. |
