Re: RX and TX LED
Easy, Ben! Consult the circuit diagram. Relay K1 is supplied with +12V. It then feeds either +RX or +TX as the case may be. The underside of the board has the pads to connect to, either to individual LEDs with series resistors to 0V or to a 'bi-color' LED with resistor from its common lead to 0V. Those voltages can be accessed on the top side of the board by locating resistors in the 'bi-amp' section/s and carefully attaching your wires. The traces there follow the circuit diagram. A little mental effort, but well worth it. I'd suggest only a TX LED - if not lit, the rig is is Rx mode. If your kit is non-Raduino, I'd suggest a 'Power on' rather than 'Rx' LED. 73 Dex, ZL2DEX |
Re: raduino v1.27 released (improved suppression of spurious burst)
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHi, just a quick question about the frequency range, i installed ver 1.26, all ok, then changed the upper and lower frequency range to 3mhz and 15.5mhz. I had hoped to be able to rx 30 and 20 metres using different bpf, but when going up in frequency, the vfo only gets to 9.999mhz then goes back to 1mhz? I cannot get it to go any higher. Re: RX and TX LED
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýJust go to the Rx and Tx lines that control the direction of the amps.? Put a 1K to each Led from them. I think that is what you asked? 73's Mike, WA6ISP On 11/5/2017 1:20 PM, Ben Piecora

Re: Signal generator.
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýProbably these?
Remember the complaint the external SI library eats memory? That's why it is internal on newer versions.

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýOK, comment out LCD.H and // LCD Backlight ON Now it compiles here? Look like those functions are in some other library other than the standard Liquid Crystal library? ? WA6ISP, Mike

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHere are the libraries installed?? There are 2 screen dumps

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýIt should be the standard LCD Lib, but need the SI5351 and Rotary. I will try it, and email again the file. Mike On 11/5/2017 11:48 AM, Henning Weddig

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýI have hacked up a generator. I hope this is the latest? Uses Raduino or RaduinoX and Rotery Encoder. See if it works? Mike, WA6ISP On 11/5/2017 9:21 AM, Brent Seres

Signal generator.
Hi all
I now have a spare radio which I would like to use to put together a little signal generator. No point in regards inventing the wheel if anyone already has a simple sketch I could use. I have Mike's excellent upgrade, so was going to use the original radio for this. Thanks Brent |
