Re: zBitx Distribution upgrade

FYI, after you upgrade to bullseye, sudo apt remove connman, if you don't remove it WIFI does not autostart when you reboot.

Yes, that’s one thing I’ve been doing in my fork:

I also have a fork of ft8_lib, and my sbitx fork has it as a submodule. ?So I would suggest cloning the sbitx repo into a different directory first, then?git submodule update --recursive —init, then make.

Any ideas?? I have tried 'many' different radios / rig control combinations, but nothing works.

BTW, a small, finned heat-sink plus a small fan seems to have solved any heat issues.

Re: zBitx Distribution upgrade

Michael,
if you mean the 64-bit version of sbitx, you can download it from .
The original sbitx was installed on 32-bit Buster OS, it is installed on 64-bit Bookworm and is under development.
You can find a description in the github files if you want to install it on a clean OS.

Is it possible to replace the original IRFZ24N amplifier with an IRF520? I think in this case a different operating point setting may be necessary. Could this be enough?

Martin and Raul,

Can you check if you are seeing any power output on the two tone mode? Set the drive to 100 and connect the zBitx to a dummy load through a power meter.? Please try this on all bands and let us know.
