Re: ubitx audio amp problem discovered

Andy,
?
I do not have issues with toroid transformers.? You find the equivalent inductance on this page based on core material and turns:
?
You then set a link directive like:
K1 L1 L2 .98
which sets the linkage between L1 and L2 at 98%
?
Attached is a complex model with several transformers and toroids with multiple windings
?
There are good tutorials on the web here:

Re: sBitx V3, (PSK,RTTY,Olivia,MFSK) And More, Fldigi, Short How-To

We at amateurradiokits
In have introduced the uBitx version 5 diy kit . Our companies name is INKITS from India .?

We ars the same company that started with Bitx version 3 kits a decade back and still produce the Bitx kits as Easy Bitx Single band and dual band.?

This is just for?your reference to your inquiry.

Hi Dave,
?
Gerry is correct on the V6 still available and the current version.? The free software upgrade that improves the CW operation is available in the files section of this group:

?
User manual here:

?
The software was modified by VU3GAO and is available also in the files section.

uBitx with raduino

I've just unearthed an unmade kit that I bought in 2018.

Is it worth continuing or has it improved beyond all recognition
in the past 6 years?

Are the assembly instructions still available?

Re: ubitx audio amp problem discovered

Thanks Evan - excellent point about following the signal to see what it has to 'squeeze' thru.? It would be useful to see what comes from the mic as well.
?
I've wanted to look at this since DHL delivered an early BITX40.? I'm excited to get this stage working better!
?
I was feeling pretty good about spice until I tried to look at an RF amp stage with toroid transformers. Yuk!?
