Re: Interfere local Broadcasting radio station

Well his shipping from us may cost more than the parts, and likely he can build without a circuit board. I sense this is the only piece he needs to have a useful rig, hence I wanted to provide a variety of designs to fit whatever parts can be found.?

Re: Interfere local Broadcasting radio station

VU3YDA,

I found this filter from kits-projects to work well and is designed for the uBiTx, all versions.? It is installed in the receive only part of the signal path.

Easy to add and can be used in addition to the AGC.? Like the BCI, this is also installed in the receive-only part of the signal path.? There is room for both.

Very reasonable costs and easy to install.? There are 3 toroids to wind, so not too difficult.

Re: Interfere local Broadcasting radio station

Dear OM vu3yda

Type this into a search engine:? ?ubitx bci filter

I see several useful hits. Ubitx.net shows designs using toroidal. I see a YouTube video describing a filter not needing toroidal, if you need that approach.?

This filter may need to go into receive path only, parts may not handle high power well or the loss could be too high for transmit.?

These large signals are overloading the receiver, while at the same time you may be able to tune in ssb and cw. Idea is to reject these lower frequency signals.?

Good afternoon,
Raduino32 v6 PCB is ready.?The board replaces the original Raduino, it is valid for uBitx v6 (also for v5 with some minor modifications). The original Raduino TFT display can be used.
It includes:
  • 5v regulator LM7805.
  • Dual polarity protection circuit (with relay or MOSFET). Optional use, the board can be powered from the uBitx.
  • Sensor circuit for S-meter with LM386.
  • Current sensing circuit with ACS712.
  • Circuit to add Si5351 IC and Si5351 module socket (to choose).
  • Socket to insert the ESP32.
  • 2 x sockets to insert USB-Serial converter (Serial1 and Serial2).
  • Socket to connect up to 3 DS18B20 probes (PA transistors and LM7805)
  • 2 x sockets for A / D converter module with ADS1115.
  • Socket to extend the uBitx audio connector.
  • Socket to connect the future Raduino32-Audio board.
  • Socket for connecting a 16 x PWM module with PCA9685.
  • Socket for connecting a 16 x I / O module with MCP23017.
The board looks like this:

All SMD components are factory welded, except IC Si5351. You just need to add the LM7805 IC with its heat sink and the male or female pin strips.. The rest of the components are only necessary if you want to use the S-meter sensor, polarity protection, etc.

Due to the change of tax regulation in the EU, prices have increased, so you have to be careful when ordering.
If you order 5 units, each one costs € 12.50. If 10 units are ordered each one costs € 8. ((plus shipping costs from Spain to each interested person).

I would be grateful if anyone interested could send me a private message to know how many boards I should order. You do not need to pay anything up front, but you do need the "amateur commitment" to do so when the order arrives.?Possibly put them up for sale on eBay or Tindie to make the process easier.

I'll let a few days go by, for example until Monday, July 12, and then I'll place the order.

Thanks for your interest,

Re: Farhan VU2ESE'sTwo Tone Generator

I have built an improved two tone generator that provides additional isolation. I use? two stages of common gate amplifiers on each channel. I needed this for sbitx where I could inject -10 dBm per tone.
The IMD measurements are very easy to do and one wonders why more people don't do them.

So Doug, how much does it cost for the domain registration.

Simple python script is working to automate adding to Live layer and remove from Live layer.
right now, the Live layer is at layer3

If folks find the concept of Live layer useful, I would ask that it becomes? layer 1 (BITX operators is primary layer 0)
Rutevejledning fra OZ8PZ, OZ8WSR, ubit, wspr til OZ9ZL is at layer 1
Unavngivet lag is at layer 2

I'm grabbing the layer by #, and the script needs that # to stay consistent.

The scripts might be a seed for something better.? I forced myself to try Python.? It's like switching to a language that you only know the words bread and water.? Today I learned 'beer'.
I'll play a little more, then sanitize the kindergarten scripts and post to the files section.

Thanks for stepping up and offering to help.? I started looking at the API's available and they now all require a billing account to access.? While I am happy to keep renewing the domain I am not really in a position to tie my credit card to the map not fully understanding what kind of cost would add up.? The map data can be manually exported as a kml/kmz file but that is static.? I threw together the current map on a whim a few years ago thinking there might be interest and personally not knowing how to do anything else.? We might be at the point where starting over is the best approach ideally pulling in the existing data.? Whether that is of interest to you or not you will have to decide.? I've said it many times and I still mean it when I say I do not consider the map, data, or domain name mine I was just the first person to do anything with the idea and would happily hand it all over to someone that actually knows what they are doing with the only stipulation being no one profits from it.
