LM386 CONNECTION
Hi, Has anyone tried to connect LM386 instead of the stock audio chip. If I may request for the schematic. Thanks Rajesh VU3RHU On Tue, 30 Jun 2020, 20:01 BruceN, <k4tql@...> wrote: Where is here? |
Re: Ubitx v6.1 cat control
Michael,
I had issues with the FT-817 radio selection with my v5 uBITX.? I tried the Yeasu FT-857 radio with 38400 baud, 8 data bits, 2 stop bits, None for the handshake, PTT CAT, Mode USB, and None for Split.? That has worked for me.??The thing I have found to be the issue most of the time is the baud rate. The CH340 chip does not seem to work above 38400. As far as I know, the CAT interface is the same for v5 as well as v6.? Also, I believe that HF Signals is still using the same Nano with the CH340G chip. I would give the above a try. 73 Evan AC9TU |

I think this may be due to problems on the reset line of the nano. It should be documented so do a Google search as there are a number of solutions, depending on what will be best?for you. On Mon, 29 Jun 2020, 20:05 John Sutter, <jds@...> wrote:

Hello. My apologies if this is a dupe post. I tried various combinations of search terms and found nothing. Perhaps I just have lousy search skillz. Ready to take the leap, I jumped over to shop.kit-projects.com to snag one of these agc boards for my V6 uBitx. They were out of stock.? I found an ebay seller with a complete unopened? board, switch, and resistor at a great price. He assured me the instructions can be found here or on shop.kit-projects.com. I couldn't find them here (as I've mentioned) and I think their website makes such things available to those who purchase directly from them. So, I'd be mighty beholden if someone with the instructions could either post them here (if that's not a violation) or email them to me at ag7gm dot dan at gmail.com. Please and thank you. Re: Lofturs automatic magnetic loop and BITX
Hi John, |
Re: Ubitx v6.1 cat control
开云体育I haven't been able to get my ubitx 6.2 with Reed's FW working with WSJT-x v2.2.1, thoughit does work with FT-817 Commander. ? I haven't tried UBITX manager. I started setting up a serial protocol analyzer, but then the day job wanted attention.? Maybe in another week or two I'll have time to dig back into it. I'd use FT-817 Commander to verify your port settings are correct before digging deeper. If you can't get that working, maybe it's driver problems with the serial port pr a bad USB cable. There are posts in the archives that a web search should turn up. John K6JDS On 6/29/2020 10:34 AM, Michael Golden

Hi, I have ver3. I get garbled audio even after aligning the BFO. There is also a -ve frequency offset of 2khz. Any inputs as to how I could correct it. Thanks in advance Rajesh VU3RHU On Thu, 25 Jun 2020, 18:20 , <laurent.bury@...> wrote: Hi, |
Re: Lofturs automatic magnetic loop and BITX
Thanks?for your post It is here I think? I’m glad I asked as I’d have probably spent ?300 on busting teensy before getting anything to work. I’m going to be using v6 - do you think that will be an issue with the included display and not using the nextion ? I’d be happy with two 4x20 LC to be fair - I just want the controller to follow the Raduino and hopefully with enough ferrite choke and low noise motors it will be ok.? Is it advisable to shield the rf swr/pwr BRIDGE I have for controller with extra shielding from Raduino and what material should?I use? Hopefully my radio club opens soon as I think I’ll get out of depth pretty quickly when having to diagnose TTL and such like as I have limited access to test equipment. Anyway the dream continues and I’m sure I’ll make it.? I want to put both projects in 19” for portable use and laser cut the front panel - I work in schools and have three laser machines at my disposal including three makerbots for 3D print- which I’ve used to make the magnetic loop controller mounts. I don’t actually plan on transmitting with this until filtering and harmonics have been qualified and I have my next license level - which I am hoping to take once lockdown ends. 73 de M3doo? Re: Lofturs automatic magnetic loop and BITX
I combined both last year.
I used KD8CECs firmware and made some changes to the code to create a fake AM mode for tuning. You can find the details somewhere in this group, I can't look it up at the moment. I have not yet seen Lofthurs controller with a TFT yet, I was using the 4x20 LC-Display and a Nextion on the uBitx. Sascha |
