开云体育I don’t know about the version six, but I used to use my version three by just connecting to the mic & the speaker and the push to talk, the way I do with any rig, and it worked pretty well! ? I did my first WINLINK using a vacuum tube Heathkit SB 102. ?So I expect you can take any single side band rig and make it work ? Just be sure you don’t have distortion, and get the frequency within about 100 Hz. ?You can use WWV to check what you have done to calibrate.?On May 26, 2020, at 21:22, Aaron K5ATG via groups.io <k5atg@...> wrote:

New uBITX v6

Got my uBITX v6 in the mail this morning, 7 days ahead of the scheduled delivery day. I put it together in no time, I did not experience any problems at all, and before I knew it, it was on the air! It is taking a bit to learn how to operate it but so far so good.?
I do have a question though, I do like to run digital modes. Has anyone figured out a way to hook a SignaLink USB up to the v6?? |
Re: Test equipment recommendations
Thanks for the heads up Jack. I hadn’t spied that you were the author of that article! It’ll be an interesting experiment that will hopefully contribute to my Intermediate licence.? i snagged a scope for ?50 - don’t know yet if it will work. I’ll also be building test equipment such as RF tracer, sig gen etc. I’m also planning a SWR / power meter with a stockton bridge and a nano. Fun fun fun.? |

Greetings to all. I bought this kit yesterday from Ken N2VIP on a whim but decided I won't be using it so it's up for sale. NIB, unopened, just as it came from the factory. $50 shipped to your door. Re: LIVE icon added to bitxmap.com
Of the 5 or 6 times that I looked, I was the only "Live" uBiTx on the map.? It might be useful if others would set their icon during the Sunday scheduled net.? At least then you would know that someone was on, and we know the frequency is either 7,277 MHz US, or 7.177 MHz Europe.

Re: LIVE icon added to bitxmap.com
I was able to display my "Live" icon.? Did not see any other Live icons at that time. Man is never satisfied with what he has.? Now, it would be nice to be able to see a list of "Live" stations along with their frequencies. It would also be nice if someone could design a case for 3D printing. On Mon, May 25, 2020 at 11:39 AM Mike Short <ai4ns.mike.spam@...> wrote:

Maybe design an enclosure like Elecraft has. Flat panels and connectors to join the panels together.? On Mon, May 25, 2020 at 11:27 Ashhar Farhan <farhanbox@...> wrote:

Re: New V6 on the air
I think the enclosure is a rip-off. I say this as someone with business interest in hf signals. We couldn't get a flat packing bix designed that would weigh less. As a result, about 20 dollars go off just to the dhl or india post guys.? It would be better if someone came up with a design that could be laser cut locally. - f On Mon 25 May, 2020, 3:40 AM Reed N, <greenkid336600+groupsio@...> wrote: Send hfsignals an email and they'll quote you for PayPal. FS: Unbuilt Bitx40 "kit"
开云体育Hello all,I have come across an un-built, in-opened Bitx40 kit from Nov. 2016 I'd be willing to let go for $50 shipped ConUS. Let me repeat that - the package is unopened, still sealed tight just as HFSIGNALS sent it to me. The details of this discontinued, no longer available kit are here: This would be a great project for the current shelter-in-place situation, and there's plenty of time to sort out the build before ARRL Field Day next month, when the bands will be rich with targets for this QRP Radio.
