I agree that the nextion UI looks better, but there's no fundamental reason the v6 screen can't look better than it currently does (if not identical to the nextion), especially if the drawing routines can be sped up.
The nextion displays look good because:
1) people have invested time in making them look good
2) the screens have a dedicated microprocessor to render the UI
3) The current v6 drawing routines are MVP (minimum viable product) - they are literally just bordered rectangles at this point
I suspect there will be improvements to the stock v6 UI in the upcoming months, but it will likely never perform or look as good as the nextion, due to the computational cost.

Hi All,
? ? ?I am new to tinkering with electronics, and even to HAM radio (about 3 years now). I am an accountant, by trade.
? ? ?I just received the new version 6 Kit, and have it put together, but I realized I don't know how to simply wire the DC connector. The last thing I want to do is wire this backwards and have an issue before I even get to use the transceiver. Will someone help me understand?? Is the center conductor positive or negative?? I have added a picture of what I'm thinking.? I have been reviewing the wiring diagram to try to understand, but I can't seem to translate it from the diagram into physical wiring. I want to assume the center conductor is positive (the shorter connection on the DC connector), but I don't want to assume, I want to know for sure.

versions.? Ubit Raduino has extra 16 I/O bit using I2C.

there is a heat sink and power protection.? SI part runs on
level shifted 3.3V as specs specify.

When I connect to the web page provided on my computer (Windows 10) without a microphone, I get just the instructions.? When I connect to the same page on my laptop, also Windows10, with a mic, I get the graphics showing the current audio spectrum.? See the screen shot in pdf format attached.
I would suggest you verify that you have a source of audio that the page can access.

The simple answer is NO it won't. The display would have to be a NEXTION and connected properly. It would not be able to mount on the V6 Raduino as currently configured.

OK. ?I downloaded the program in Chrome on my iPad Pro and get the very same thing I saw during the regular down load.... instructions but no program to generate to es or what ever it is supposed to do.
