Beautiful job Joel. ?What tricks did you use to cut such a perfect opening for the display ?

Does anyone know what the maximum safe PA buss circuit current is for the UBITX?

Re: 13.8 v power supplies safe for bitx?

Be careful those have oscillators on them and may cause noise.? The regulator ones with out oscillators do not cause RF noise in my experience.

Nice work Joel. Would the BIDX40 fit in that Case?

I got mine yesterday also,? ordered 2/17.? I looked and I too have the WX chip.? I plan on doing the 7509 regulator SMD MOD as it's an almost drop on the board fix.

Looks like I got the WX opamp.? Guess I'll have to figure out the regulator mod.??
? I included the serial number as reference.?
Can't wait to get it together and make a few contacts.

Or any NPN Transistor for that matter?? BD139s were used in other transmitters.? HG Semiconductor makes 2sc2078s, 2sc1969s, 2sc2312s, MRF477, & other obsolete rf transistors.? I have a few of the listed and they have all worked well for 10 & 11 meter equipment.? RF Parts is even selling HG components under their house brand.
I have used all of the above listed parts and have not received a bad part, yet.? I buy them directly from HG.? The parts are reasonably priced and I usually have them in a couple of weeks from China.

Just a suggestion & my personal experience.

Re: The start of CW code is broken #ubitx

Hidehiko

Thanks for your feeed back.
The CW Start Delay Option was incorrectly applied to the new key logic.
Originally, this feature was created for people using external linear, and no bugs were found yet.

Perhaps it worked well before Version 1.0, but it seems that I made a mistake when changing key logic in Version 1.0.
The code has now been modified. Can you test before deployment?

Various tests are currently underway to deploy firmware with WSPR functionality.?So I applied the modified code to the latest version I'm testing now.
I attached the firmware to the mail.

I want you to test before you deploy.
And thanks again for finding the part I did not think of.

I've built the ubitx and now experimenting about CW mode with dummy load.
I set the iambic key and it worked well but I found that the start of dot or dah was broken, not a full code when TX. I set the "CW start Delay" to 100 but not fixed this problem. Is there any information about this?
