The IRF530 seems to be a very good drop-in replacement for the IRF510.
It has higher power capability with similar specs otherwise. Vdss=100V Id=17A Rds(on)=90mohm. Mouser carries them in stock (5,551 in stock) 942-IRF530NPBF by Infineon. (10,36 in stock at $1.07) 844-IRF530PBF by Vishay. Made by Vishay Siliconix, Infineon,ON Semiconductor, STMicroelectronics. Available in TO-220-3 and TO-252-3 packages for about $0.90 each. Another alternative is the MTP3055E for less than $1.00 from Digipart.com.? It's good for up to 30W at 10M. Ron W7HD |

Re: RD transistors, unobtanium?
Yes - challenges sourcing Generic parts seems to be emerging. I like the VHF multiband idea - and this may tie in with your Narrowband FM mod suggestion ... on the Raduino output!? But somewhere along the way you mentioned experiments with an SDR design as well ... Mike On Thu, 15 Mar 2018 at 4:20 PM, Ashhar Farhan <farhanbox@...> wrote:

Re: RD transistors, unobtanium?
More like a multiband vhf... but it is not about any particular project. Radio community has inertia with favourite devices. While subsitutes are possible at low power levels, the devices are fewer for our purpose on HF at 12v. It looka like generics like the IRF510 (which too is No longer manufactured by IRF) are givong away to devices with lower voltages, microwave responses and they are manufacturer specific. - f On 15 Mar 2018 8:34 am, "Mike Woods" <mhwoods@...> wrote:

A bunch of $3 Nano clones is a good choice.

can hook them up to a few resistors plus some LED's and speakers and maybe a display, will make a great introduction to programming. If starting from scratch and no idea what you want to do with it, one of the kits is not a bad bet: ? ?? If you mostly want to learn programming and are not interested in hardware, install linux on some old windows machine.? Ubuntu linux is not a bad choice. Comes with lots of programming tools installed, including support for C and Python among several dozen other popular languages. 开云体育I just went through that due to a failing hard drive.? It was starting to drop sectors, but showed the problem as lockups when accessing various subsystems, such as serial ports.? Replaced the spinning hard drive with an SSD drive, reinstalled the Linux OS and all is well again. Ron W7HD On 03/14/2018 07:21 PM, Don Meyerhoff

I am trying to find transistors for our future work. The TDA2822 episode has had me hurting. It is time we identified some long term candidates for RF power.? - f On 15 Mar 2018 7:46 am, "KD8CGH" <rkayakr@...> wrote: Also ordered 6 while having a leisurely beer to pass the time between screens. |

So, exactly what math is this that was shown?

Perhaps post 44560? Michael is only describing the conversion from 1'st IF to 2'ed IF, he's quite aware the uBitx is double conversion. Take a look at the math in this post of our current thread: ? ? ??/g/BITX20/message/44515 See anything wrong there? I really am looking for somebody to vet it. Especially the improved code in post 44278 Jerry, KE7ER On Wed, Mar 14, 2018 at 06:20 pm, ajparent1 wrote:
