Hi All,
The latest assembly manual for the V3C (SBL) that I can find is the Feb 25, 2015, but there is no mention of installation of the SBL.? Anybody having put that particular version together have any problems using either that manual of the prior May4, 2014?? Or is the a manual out there that I have missed?? ?I got this kit in 2016, where it has been in my building queue until now.? Also, I have sent a couple of emails to Sunil at his Gmail address but have not heard back?? Does he have a new email address?
If anybody put a write up together, that would be GREAT!? Thanks.

The max for TDA2822 is 15V, I am sure the rest of the board will be fine.
Add a small heat sink to the Raduino 5V regulator. Disconnect the TDA
from power and feed it with a 12V regulator OR put 5x1n400x in series
with the TDA power to drop about 3V.

during Tx time the battery drops . Yes, You said you wont diacharge below 3.3V. I observe here that the 18650 cells show 3V while on 1 or 2 amps of discharge. That is what mde me feel the regulator trouble. However , perhaps using a LDO regulator at 12V you could overcome this issue.

So a 4S battery pack would need to stop being used at 13.2V. With a regulators' drop around 1.5V (we only pull 0.4-0.5A from the main board on Tx, and the finals go strait to the battery), the final voltage to the main board is around 11.7V. Quite a decent supply voltage.

This would have repurcussions of ripple and? hashing sound on the analog SSB working. OK for any FM? modulation .

?4 li-ion celles make a max of 16 odd is fine. ?But as we use it the voltage falls to 12 and the 12V regulator needs min of 15V. How did you cope with that situation? regards sarma ?vu3zmv

with a 4 cell 18650 Li-ion Rechargeable Battery pack.
Wide input voltage 5V ~ 32V;

Yes, it is a Gainta enclosure,?135§ç60§ç190mm sized. Bitx board fits to this enclousre well, but i had to place Raduino display to the right side and tuning control to the left side, because 7805 of Raduino?prevented to place it to the left side.?

you are using earbuds from a cellphone? It has 4 connections on the plug- tip - ring - ring - sleeve. The jack supplied in the kit is 3 conductor - tip - ring - sleeve. It is closed circuit type. You are probably shorting out the audio when plugging in - get proper 4 cond jack. Or you use an old speaker maybe from a radio or computer 8 ohm type 1/4 to 1 watt type. DON't connect the black wire from the board to negative or ground. If mounting the jack on a metal panel then you must get an isolated ground type jack. You still have to key the radio PTT somehow, can't do that with earbuds. I use a 3 conductor jack for microphone and PTT on one cable. Separate speaker jack.? ALSO connect a dummy load to the antenna B4 playing with PTT and MIC connections just to be safe. You probably don't have a 2.5Amp fuse inline with the power yet either??
