Re: Dec 16 order of uBitx received Feb 10 via India Post
Hi George
I assume your PayPal notification is for the payment. PayPal will send another when HF Signals inform them the item has been shipped and that second message should mean it's on it's way. As you can see it took another 10 days to arrive here via India Post and Royal Mail with no further tracking once it was 'in the bag'. I got the Jan 24 message from HF Signals following an enquiry, so I might not have heard anything until the second PayPal message. However, as Chris Gress says, I think they have stock of Bitx40 and if so yours could be shipped quite soon. And arrive even sooner if you use DHL, but I get the impression if you are using DHL in NA they will slap a tax on you. Not sure if that happens UK so I didn't take the chance!! 73 Chris G3SQU |

I also ordered mine on the 18th and mine is also sitting in Cincinnati for the last day. ?It is indicated that once it hits the USA it is USPS. Was supposed to deliver this last Friday so I figure maybe Tuesday here in Minnesota. On 10 Feb 2018 5:27 pm, "S. Porter" <srporter@...> wrote: ordered 18 December? |

ordered 18 December?
picked up by DHL on 7 February, 3:07pm (0937z) Hyderabad time arrived U.S. hub near Cincinnati, Ohio on 9 February, 5:40am (1040z) via Bangalore and Leipzig DHL did an incredible job of moving it 9,200 miles in 2 days! but still at Cincinnati 36 hours later apparently took 24 hours to clear U.S. customs no worries, it should be delivered here Monday, 12 February |

开云体育I sent them an email last week asking where I was in the line up and when I might expect to receive my ubitx.? I ordered on January 13th.?? This is what they sent me after my email last week: ? We are currently shipping orders received on dec 20th. It will take ?about 2-3 weeks for us to ship your order. Tracking details will be updated once the shipment is done. ? HfSignals Team ? Sounds like they might be catching up a bit.? I read this to say I could expect it to be shipped in 2-3 weeks. ? Just an FYI for you guys. 73-Gary ? ? ? Re: AGC kits
Does anyone know what the typical output level of the first AF amp should be for a strong signal? I built the AGC amp shown in the message by Joe Puma and the AF output begins to distort with an input of 300mv to 350mv RMS. I haven't yet built a spreadsheet to see how much AGC action is provided as the AF level goes up. Maybe I can get to that tomorrow. I don't have any way to sweep the amplitude of the input AF, only the frequency. So I'll have to build everything up manually a point at a time in order to see what compression is provided.?

Same here. I still need a case and I'm hoping by the time my uBITX shows we'll have a path for flatter PA drive (I have some IRF510's and RD16's in a bag). |

开云体育Hi Chris, "It's a Long Way to Tipperary"? like the British music hall song told us. Glad you received yours. I ordered a BITX40 with Raduino on Feb 7. PayPal notified me a few minutes later. So far nothing came from HFSIGS. Just sent an inquiry to teamhfsigs@..., waiting for a reply. BTW, is the BITX40 sent from stock? I ordered mine early/mid January and I set my expectation for early March(ish) after reading the lists and seeing the traffic.? I'm cool with that, it's clear that the uBITX has caused a LOT of demand and I'm good with that. |
Re: [SPAM] [BITX20] A SWR power bridge for uBITX
开云体育Building SWR bridges is pretty easy for most people here and there are many examples on the internet to follow if you want one.? The difficulty with the uBITx in its current form is finding a way to bring the Vfor and Vref signals into the Radurino for calculation and display.? You either have to do some pin juggling… or move some current analog features to the I2C buss.? That’s where the challenge is. ? ? Dr. William J. Re: ubitx project
The project is on the right track.
Everything is already in a metal box (cookie), it is already possible to transmit, getting about 12W in 40m. and approximately 7 in 20m. For the other bands I do not have antennas. QSO's in 40m are relatively easy to do, depending on the propagation, but even with my precarious antenna I have been able to perform QSO's with EA8 and HB9, in addition to practically all EA. Keep in mind that I use a mic preamp that has some compression. The front-end has changed, being governed by an arduino mega2560 pro and a 2.4 "touch screen. It is possible to adjust the frequencies of BFO, IF, CW Tone and an offset if necessary for the VFO. For the Si5351 the calibration factor and the outputs can be adjusted. As a disadvantage, this Arduino works at 16MHz and it seems that, together with the screen, it introduces some noise. Working now to eliminate it. I just uploaded a small video showing all that: ? ?? or search for "ubitx EB7ME" on YouTube Thank you very much Farhan for your great idea. Regards? EB7ME? 础苍诲谤é蝉 |
