Re: Video: Timing problems with zBitx internal keyer
Yep, it’s missing a lot of your leading dots, suggesting that the sampling just ?isn’t fast enough. ?So your W started with dashes, and a lot of other characters are similarly mangled
?
?
It was also very disconcerting when it didn’t work right on the sBitx before, once the sampling went up much faster it became very nice?
?
Hopefully this will all get eventually settled out; We did on the sBitx , but it took a long time. ?Mike johnshoy was the solution

Re: Received my zbitx.
Ryan,
?
I'm sorry to hear that the zBitx arrived with a crack. I'm guessing the parcel had a rough journey to your location. Can you share some photos of the radio and the packaging with us. You can email it to us at support at HFSignals dot com.

I will share the STL files for the case soon.?

VFO Knob replacement for zBitx posted
Hello All,
I wanted a dimpled knob for the front of my zBitx, so I turned to Thingiverse to find a suitable knob and adjust the size to what I wanted and 3D printed my own in black PLA. The knob I've remixed is 10mm tall and 30mm in diameter, and will sit low to the front panel of the radio if you [very carefully] trim the length of the rotary encoder shaft. Please be careful to not bend the shaft of the encoder as you are doing this.
?
I've shared the files and full trimming instructions here

Re: CW on zbitx
Hi Farhan I loaded firmware 1.06 and I am very happy the chugging sound has gone from cw reception. This afternoon listening on ssb 20m I did notice some less pronounced chugging sounds. I will try and add this to the github bugs list. Thanks for the fast cw fix. 73 Nigel MW0NDE? On Wed, 2 Apr 2025, 06:23 Ashhar Farhan via , <farhanbox=[email protected]> wrote:

Re: Does zBitx have SWR display?
Mine doesn’t seem to do that. I’ve never seen a power output or SWR there. 73, Paul, N8HM On Wed, Apr 2, 2025 at 11:08 Andrew via <roland.andrew=[email protected]> wrote:

Re: Zbitx RPI SD-card image needed
Ragav
Thank you so very much !! Now Im a happy bunny. unzipped and then flashed another 32Gbyte SD-card I had laying around. Im using "Balena Etcher".? Again - Im a bit concerned with the fact that the system is somewhat fragile. So I guess it makes sense to have the image available for download with instructions on how to flash if things go sideways out there. ?

When you TX, you'll see power and SWR: This snapshot is from the manual, available here: On Wed, Apr 2, 2025 at 11:06?AM Nigel Evans M0NDE via <nigel.m0nde=[email protected]> wrote:

Re: CW on zbitx
Yeah I think the new software update is an improvement but some of the keying is still rough around the edges. It definitely helped with the chugging sound. On Wed, Apr 2, 2025 at 9:40?AM Ron Carr via <rcarr=[email protected]> wrote:
