Yes.? Straight simple cables connecting mic to speak, and ditto for speak to mic. And +1 for Dean's observations. Or you can use the creators approach, just put your laptop near the rig, and they

Re: UK Import Charges
I think the admin fee is ?11, post office used to be ?8, the rest is vat, I don' t think there is any import duty to pay. DHL is a very fast delivery from anywhere in the world but it will cost you.

Re: New uBITX v6 #ubitxv6 #signalink #ubitx
The one thing that I would add to Dean's advice is to include snap-on ferrites for the lines in and out of the computer (audio and USB).? ?I found I had RF feedback issues that distorted the audio

Re: New uBITX v6 #ubitxv6 #signalink #ubitx
Aaron, Yes. PC phone jack goes to uBitx Mic jack. PC mic jack goes to uBitx phone jack.. Connect a USB cable. Assuming you want to run FT8, in the WSJTX software, configure the rig as Yaesu FT-817.

Re: New uBITX v6 #ubitxv6 #signalink #ubitx
Mick, I do not have a v6, however, the v6 schematic from HF Signals shows the PTT signal on the RING of the cable, not the TIP.? The tip is the audio in for the mic.? Is there an error on the v6

Aaron, you can run them direct into the rig but I found it worked better if I used a small USB sound dongle (I¡¯m using a laptop, desktop with sound card should work without the dongle). You will

Re: V5 BFO Save issue #bfo
Victor, If you have a microphone connected to your computer you could use the BFO tuning page to verify that the sound is the same. https://www.hfsignals.com/index.php/bfo-tuning-aid/ If you do decide

Re: V5 BFO Save issue #bfo
Victor, The stock program always resets to the default value when you enter into the BFO calibration.? There is no way to see the current value.? The only way to tell is if it sounds the same If you

Re: V5 BFO Save issue #bfo
Yes Victor, replace the Arduino Nano. The nano is not able to write into eeprom memory is my guess. This has happened to my boards also.

Re: V5 BFO Save issue #bfo
Thanks Raj. Did try changing frequencies to no avail. When you say NANO, are your referring to the Arduino?? Was following the block diagram and all roads seem to lead to that.? But seems other then

Re: V5 BFO Save issue #bfo
Victor, Try moving the frequency up/down a little and see. I would suspect the NANO, replace, load firmware and see. Should solve it. Raj

V5 BFO Save issue #bfo
Ok...? Been scratching my head here.? Trying to save the BFO settings and no luck. Get it tuned in nicely, tried PTT, click encoder, you name it, tried it.? Did the 30 second wait before powering

Re: Nextion Display on uBITX #ubitx #nextion
ohwenelph, Try 38400 for the baud rate to load programs to the Nano using the xloader software.? Some of the Nano clones use that baud rate. 73 Evan AC9TU
