Re: uBitx Digi-Interface Module (Add-on Board)
Joe Puma
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýThanks Gordon,I have mistaken yours for another digital board on that and someone followed up with your empty board. ?What I really liked about the other board which link is posted in the OM is posted, is that is came with the a RF out trim. ?I needed that as well. All this can be done with various parts but I liked the all in one board that has a sound fob, audio filtering and other options Mounted on it. ?Thanks for the encouragement that I could build my own and to explore the techniques to do so. ?I would like to try that in the future but for now I was just looking if anyone has the board from my OP.? Re: New uBITX Ver. 6 Assembled Today
When I connect to the web page provided on my computer (Windows 10) without a microphone, I get just the instructions.? When I connect to the same page on my laptop, also Windows10, with a mic, I get the graphics showing the current audio spectrum.? See the screen shot in pdf format attached.
I would suggest you verify that you have a source of audio that the page can access. 73 Evan AC9TU |
Re: V6 alternative software
The simple answer is NO it won't. The display would have to be a NEXTION and connected properly. It would not be able to mount on the V6 Raduino as currently configured.

Re: TFT Raduino upgrade for V3 uBiTx ?
Hi, there are a TON of ways to replace the raduino, google is your friend, multiple people have provided different projects for that.? Adafruit has a product with the si5351 already solderred in, and you can leverage that product easily.? ?I created an external VFO using that board and publihsed the gerbers somewhere.? ?There are people here who have for-sale versions of more refined products.? ?Google is your friend! Re: uBitx Digi-Interface Module (Add-on Board)
yes, kit-projects has been great to help make this available.? ?And the GERBERS? ( ) are out there for free and anyone can order 5 or 10 cards from china and have them in a week.? ?and learn a bunch in the process!? ? Point to point can always be done also -- there are a zillion different pages out there all with basically the same information, from which i learned as well.? ?Great chance to learn more about electronics.? homebrew "manual" also available:? ?? ? I went through various iterations, so you have to pay a bit of attention, but none of that is very crucial....using a 2.2K resistor instead of a 2K isn't going to make a hill of beans difference in that design, for example!!!? ?? Re: REPLACEMENT RADUINO
Thanks Raj. I emailed then 2 weeks ago to that address and have not had a reply. I thought I may have had the wrong email address. Its Christmas so I will not get to impatient yet. I know they will be busy with all the V6 orders.
Thanks again, I will go back to waiting..... -- Mike VK3XL |
