Re: Kit-Projects ND6T Ubitx AGC

If I could ask for the same measurements that digger took that would be great.?
The solution here is going to be either modding the ubitx to fix the audio issue or adding an amp for the boards that need it.? The attenuation range is based on how much af drive is given to the circuit. If you read nd6t's original articles you can see why the values reported by digger are just not cutting it!

I'm personally just fustrated that some of you will have issues with our product. While it is a kit it's meant to just work. So thank you all for the support!

Re: Homebrew li-ion battery pack into ubitx

Sorry... I thought this was the same one I purchased.

Mine was:

$~24, Prime Shipping, With charger. It claims 3000 mAHr but it is probably closer to 2400 or so based on some comments. It has a convenient disconnect switch and has a pretty well regulated 12 V output.? Charger is rated at 12.6 v Out at 500ma.? (100-240 VAC input). The battery has built in protection and regulation I believe.

Re: Homebrew li-ion battery pack into ubitx

I followed KEGYC's link into Amazon for the Turnigy lipo 11.1v 2200mah 1.5c battery pack, see this question and answer:
Question: Does it come with a charger? Answer:? ?come alone without charger; No you will need to get a proper lipo balance charger; Does not it come with a charger.

So it does not come with a charger.
Needs a "balanced charger", they generally cost twice as much as this $22.99 battery pack.

The Turnigy webpage on chargers looks like gibberish using this ChromeOS laptop:

Any recommendations on a suitable charger for this battery pack?

I have a 4.5ah 11(ish) volt battery I may use.. do you have a voltage regulater you use to maintain 12 volts as the battery discharges?

Re: POP!!

Now I haven't compared them, but they're dip relays and I use them in my CWid boards. MPJA.com has some for $1.29 ea, under a buck each when on sale. I usually keep no less than 10 on hand. There's a PDF data sheet with all the dimensions you can compare things to.

Oh, I did use one of them to replace a flaky relay in a Yaesu 757 and it works fine - it's in the receive part but should be ok for RF.

Re: ubitx v5 down: IRF510 heatsink very hot immediately after turning on the radio #ubitx-help #ubitx

The 60mhz version at $124.29 only does 60mhz on sine wave generation,
everything else is the same as the 30mhz version at $116.29
Makes sense, they can put a low pass filter on the output to extract a clean 60 mhz sine wave,

Lots and lots of features, read the Banggood description thoroughly.
I'm tempted.?

Searching for 6800 on Banggood mostly finds a bunch of gas masks.

My uBITX is due to arrive by the end of the week and, like you, my head is full of ideas from trolling this group and the rest of uBITX on the net..? repeatedly I hear what Evan is saying.. I have an old aluminum phone system powersupply encosure that I may just have an open front on until I see how it goes..? currently think I will try the cat control from an android app or pc instead of better display..?

Too many options, slow and steady wins the race

I wonder whether the O P? has used 4k7 resistor between key wire and 5v vcc( blue and green wires)?

Hi,

?

Can anybody pl confirm which firmware .hex to run the DSP signal meter & CW decoder option .

I use nextion adv 3.5¡±.

Fyi, the S-meter function works normally, but DSP1 & CW setup buttons don¡¯t appear on the control menu ??!!

?

I¡¯m using ¨C?

#for 1st?Arduino (ubitx): ???????????UBITX_CEC_V1.200_NX_S.hex? (tried v1.097 & v1.10 too !!)

?

#for 2nd?Arduino (sig.sensor): ??I tried all the below found online, but w/o success

CEC_I2C_Meter_V0.8.hex?

DSPMeter1_V0.7.hex?

i2cmeter1.ino.hex

?

In dspmeterv1-master uploaded few days back (?) there¡¯s no .hex files !!

?

All wiring as per-
