Re: BITX40 Sensitivity
Hello Raj, Really -130dBm? It's great! I will try again but I think I'm not able to hear -130dBm with my HP SG. ja9mat

Re: BITX40 Sensitivity
Good news for me! managed to fix my function Seimens generator. One white power bypass smd cap had a neat hole in it! I connected the sig gen and found that I can hear the signal down to -130dbm.

Re: CW mode delay
Hi Allard, Thanks for reply and OK I understand all you mentioned. The first code loss will be prevent by using the manual PTT SW to ON. But I feel the main issue is the 1:3 ratio of the morse code

Re: CW mode delay
Hi Hidehako-san, The cause of this is that there is a burst of RF which is coming directly through the balanced mixer which is unbalanced for about 60 mS due to the microphone amplifier stage being

Re: BITX40 Sensitivity
OK thanks sarma and Raj, Yes, -117dBm is enough for me.! I only want to know the limitation of this simple receiver's sensitivity. I'm waiting for Raj's measurement result. ja9mat Hidehiko.

Re: CW mode delay
Hi Allard, Thanks for your reply quickly. Well I feel the delay is noticed when I start to key the first dot or dash is lost. And I feel the 1:3 ratio is broken during the transmit. Especially the

Re: BITX40 Sensitivity
Thats about 0.3uV, more than enough. On 40M the atmospheric background noise is higher than this. You need a K2 sensitivity when using a poor antenna like a mobile one whose gain will be negative

Re: CW mode delay
Hi Hidehiko-san, Thank you for reporting this issue. The delay you noticed, when exactly is it happening? Is there a problem at the beginning of the transmission (when the radio switches from RX to

Re: BITX40 Sensitivity
comparing to cost of K2, the sensitivity has reached almost the best value, I suppose. sarma vu3zmv -- Regards Sarma

CW mode delay
I modified CW mode and set the latest version of firmware(Raduino 1.17.1). I feel distinguished delay when I use the external electronic keyer. The morse code can not follow with keying. How is your
