Re: Raduino transistor getting hot
Hi Sarma!
The load current is way lower, about 0.15A (what the current draw on the +5V line is).
That results in a power dissipation of 1.25 to max 1.35W.
TO-220 package has a thermal resistance

Re: 2 and 3 pin connectors used with Bitx40 sad board
This is a genuine question and not sarcasm, is 50 bucks a good price for a
simple hand crimper? I was shocked when I saw the price.

Re: New user
HA!?As it turns out, QST has accepted my AA article for publication...don't know when that will be, but they said "in 2017". As you know, there is an assembly manual for the AA and we will be selling

Re: Weird behavior of Raduino
I sort of fixed the problem.
First I found my offset (-150Hz). That means for a signal of 7.125MHz I had to adjust at 7.12515MHz for zero beat.
Then load the sketch into Arduino IDE and look for the

Re: 2 and 3 pin connectors used with Bitx40 sad board
The PA-09 crimps mentioned above are PRICELESS for these connectors. I tried a cheap pair of cheaper crimps and they were garbage. I highly suggest the pa-09. I picked mine up from adafruit a long

Ion,
The sketch is now wrong. Doh!
I just checked the library details again.? They have changed the way calibration is done, it now has a one time set?? " si5351.set_correction(value) ; "?
