Re: ubitx v6 lsb/usb
I set it to 11.554. Didn't notice any difference in the ubitx. I'll dig out
the scope.
I'm sure there's a reference for the Raduino out there somewhere.

Re: S/N 0994 receiver internal noise
I¡¯ve got the 5 volt issue reasonably working. The Drok module combined in series with a LP filter has significantly stabilized the critical 5v line. Had to play with grounding but ended up grounding

That value is too high. ?It should be below 11.057 at most.

Re: ubitx v6 lsb/usb
I had it set at 11.0581. I didn't see a 'fine' adjustment, but I can look
at it tomorrow. I do have a 50mhz scope.

I did some static testing of the DROK regulator module and it was
interesting. I wrote about it on my blog

Re: ubitx v6 lsb/usb
Don,
This looks like the "course" BFO setting used to zero beat the AM signal.? Note that there is little to no signal above 1.8 KHz.? What values are you entering when you press the tuning knob??

Re: ubitx v6 lsb/usb
Well, I got the frequency dialed in. I can't get the BFO set though. I'm
using Friture with a USB mic (on my webcam) laid right on top of the ubitx
speaker, and I can't get anything close to the

Re: ubitx v6 lsb/usb
Thanks Evan.
I lack a signal generator, so I'll have to stick to WWV.
HF is pretty quiet here in Seattle at the moment. I'll give it a go in a
few hours.

I think it would great to have VHF/UHF/SHF sBitx.? Maybe a poor man's version of the ICOM IC-9700?? A gBitx?

Thanks to JJ my homebrew sBitx is now up and running on the 64 bit release and all is well.? I'm going to be testing over the next few days but I will likely keep it.? The 64 bit OS feels like the

Could you post a picture of your waterfall with the noise?? Maybe with the band spread set to 25K with a dummy load or no antenna attached?
I mean if you have your IF GAIN cranked to 100% on 40M or

Re: ubitx v6 lsb/usb
Don,
The signal that Asher Farhan is using is a short wave station in India. ?Any AM signal can be used. ?I use a 10MHz reference source. ?You can also use a frequency generator. ?WWV can work.

Re: ubitx v6 lsb/usb
Thanks Evan. I think I messed it up when I reloaded the firmware, just to
see if I had my Arduino environment set up correctly.
Where is this 7270 signal? I could really use any signal, like WWV

ubitx v6 lsb/usb
I got a ubitx v6 some time ago, and haven't done much with it. I just
started tinkering with it. This is the stock firmware.
Changing USB/LSB seems to have no effect. Is there some kind of
