Mine is wired in the same way, for straight key. But the 4N25 was not enough. The sent code was really messy. Currently the 4N25 'keys' the 'Keyall HV' (mosfet) interface for any rig (tube as well)

I suppose that there is a lot of variation in USB sound cards, but I had good luck hooking a USB sound adaptor directly to my UBITX microphone input with a stereo mini jack cable from the headphone
