Re: ?B K1 Relay, RF Side

Re: Fried irf510s replaced but
When I sow the bottom of the heatsinks were almost touching the board I removed just a piece 1-2mm of the heatsinks. Just to be sure they could not touch the board.

Thank you Marco,? I worked that out by using a USB microscope to see the number stamped on the component and found out it was a version of the 2n3904.? I have some spare 2n3904s and might give it a

Re: Fried irf510s replaced but
Q90 is a smd version of a 2n3904. Part number is mmbt3904. The schematic is correct. A few people have used a TO-92 version with success. It is just hard to align, due to the difference. Good luck &

Re: Fried irf510s replaced but
Conrad, according to the schematic q90 is a 2n3904.? What is installed on the board is a flush mounted transistor....if it is a 2n3904 no reason not to replace it with a t0-92 form is there?? Am I

The standard heat sink is to small. To make it worse there is no heat sink paste on them to transfer the heat to start with. those poor Fets get cooked. If you can¡¯t leave your fingers on them
