For reference, I am having similar issues after doing the PA sequencing and Buck regulator mods.? I did the mods, powered up the radio to update the software, and had my power supply shut down.? I pulled the RPi, did a software update separately, and then reinstalled it.? Same issue, high current and can not start the RPi before shutdown of the supply.
With the RPi removed, the current stabilizes at 400ma.? That is with the finals removed to test.? They are the originals that came with the rig.? I have pulled and tested twice, and both times they checked good on a transistor tester.
I have confirmed that the cut and wire addition are as the instructions detailed.
I have the board out and noted an added 2n7000 device under Q10.? Is that normal?? I have serial number 19.
