Art,
Ok, some bad news here. Running 1.2 on my V4 system, everything appears to work correctly, even the CW. My original problem was that the TX line got unplugged when I swapped the 2.8 screen in.
I assume you got to the CW screen where it was misbehaving by going to the CW config screen? If this continues, you could try setting your speed (at least for now) the uBITX Memory Manager.
Alternatively, the original LCD oriented interface is available. Press the encoder quickly, turn it until you get to the cw change spped option, push the encoder again, turn the encoder to the desired spped, and then push to confirm.
?When I get around to building my v2.0 for V6, I will check out your issue. (But I need to design a board first here that deals with how things changed on the v6. ;-)
As another note...
The newest Nextion editor (V1.63.3) does not seem to be exactly pixel for pixel compatible with the prior version. You can see this by trying to select the mode (i.e. USB,LSB, CWL, CWU) from the screen. The options should be adjacent and in one line. However, I have seen where in the new editor, there are spaces between the options and I believe one even wraps to the next line. Eventually I will fix all of these (I believe I own one of resolution of NExtion). But you could try (if your screen is old enough) one of the "legacy" .tft and see if it is more pleasing.
Sorrry can't help more! Perhaps someone else has seen this problem?
