I noticed that the BFO in the daylight build is rather noisy and microphonic. I changed a few parts and the orientation but that has not helped. I have the BFO/MIXER and the audio section together. Listening to the audio with headphones the noise is noticeable. I removed mixer output to the audio amp and the noise goes away, so the audio section is dead quiet. If I disconnect the BFO completely from the Mixer, the noise disappears, so my assumption is the BFO is generating the noise, even with the crystal removed.
At this point I am not sure if this really matters since no band noise is present. I might be concerned about nothing, at this point.
Sugguestions?
