I can now go ahead ,plug in correct polarity power , & Mic, Earphones & keyer in correct places & see if I can get it to work !!! Also thanks for explaining the white gadget is a special stylus for the small touch screen , & the extra cables with connectors actually apply to an earlier model # 5 !!!? & not this one at all !!!! The barrel is the negative one. 1 - When looking at the front of the uBitx, the left-most jack is for the mic/PTT that comes with the kit.? The next jack to the right (middle) is for headphones or a stereo connection.? The far-right jack is for the key/paddles used for CW. 2 - The extra connectors with wires were required for the v5 and earlier uBitx kits.? This was before the jacks were mounted on the mainboard.? HFSignals has continued to provide them, though they are not needed.? The headers are still on the main board, so they can be used for any mods you want. 3 - The white plastic tool is a stylus that can be used with the touch screen.? It is better than using a pen point, as it will not mar the screen.? It has more of a pint than your finger, making a selection on-screen easier.
