?I thought you were going to say he was SK at first...
He will be missed.?

Arv also wrote to me suggesting that this was just around the corner. He is unusual in the way that he can make you feel in safe harbor no matter the nature of the question or statement. Like everyone else, I know that his wisdom and wit will be sorely missed.?

It is with a tinge of sadness, nostalgia and much much gratefulness that I must announce that Arv, K7HKL is retiring from moderatorship of our group.
He and Hans, G0UPL started this group many many moons ago. I had announced the bitx design on rec.radio.amateur.homebrew and Hans got very interested and put together a group buy of the components. We needed a group to coordinate and He and Arv created the yahoo group for us all with Arv as the co-moderator.?
Over the years, Arv has modulated, nurtured and mentored us in the group. His contribution to the bitx radios is immense. He did meticulous documentation of bitx radios and wrote the manuals as well helped the first bitx20a kits arrive in the market. His work is on?
Apart from bitx he has wide ranging interests the range from Huff and Puff stabilizers (he and Hans are authorities on it) to solar power to Arduinos.
He is not going anywhere, he will continue to be here in the group but his other interests and changing priorities compel him to hand over the charge.
We added Sasi, VU2XZ as another moderator to the group. He has no business interest with any companies that sell bitx kits, he designed the LARC bitx boards, he is an immensly talented, quiet homebrewer who is also our Lamakaan Amateur Radio Club secretary.?
Thanks Arv, we continue to celebrate and appreciate everything you have done for us all.?
