and some sense of the scale would be much appreciated.
Better yet, count the strands and measure the diameter of one with an accurate caliper.

That HF caliper works well, but the SR44/LR44? type battery will drain out in a few months
even if left "off".? Buy a bunch of batteries, they're cheap.? Some cheaper ones now on Amazon
only resolve to 0.01", a good one is 10x better.
