Okay. Please note your inverted V is only expected to work well on one band, and if you cut it to a formula like 468 divided by frequency (in MHz, gives answer in feet, forgive me if you need to translate this to meters) .??
Perhaps you don't have a way to measure SWR?? Often an inverted V needs to be adjusted to a shorter length to account to interaction with the earth and its surroundings.?
The bfo calibration is important on both receive and transmit. If you are receiving ssb nicely, I am imagining it is okay.?
