I am at our off-grid cabin for the summer and have brought by uBITX with me.? With the low noise floor and elevation the BITX has really shined.? This afternoon I made a 20M contact to the Slovak Republic with just 7 watts!? That's more than 5300 miles, I'm hooked!
Before I left to come up to the hills most of the parts had arrived for my uBITX mobil rig so when I get back this fall I will get it put together and mount a Ham-Stick on the receiver hitch of my truck.
