I got around to assembling my v6.? I have the same issue with this kit as others have mentioned in this thread and others.? Namely, the 40meter power output is low.? I measure 5watts on 40 and 9watts on 30.? I did probe the T12 and T1 test points with my Siglent SDS 1102CML+ 100MHz scope and found that the VPP was the same for both frequencies at TP12, however only 22mv for 40meters at 7.050MHz vs 38mv at 3.550MHz.? Seems that there is an issue with the first mixer not transferring the CW signal efficiently.? Any suggestions as to what to check?? I have already checked the transformers and do not see any shorts or opens.? Besides, they work fine at 30meters.
