Re: uBitX V6 no transmit power #ubitxv6 #ubitx-help #tx

Nick,
2 questions:
1 - The last reading is for 80 meters?
2 - What frequency did you use to test 40meters?? There is an anomaly at a setting of 7.000 HMZ on the frequency that could switch in the wrong filter.??

Try using 7.15MHz and see what the power is then.??

The power reading on 30meters seems to rule out a problem with the low pass filter.

The 40meter output is historically lower than 20 meters for a large number of ?BITX that have posted on this board.? No one has come up with the reason for this.?

You could add the capacitor to see if that helps.? C81 is a bypass on the negative feedback caused by the emitter resistor.? It tends to increase gain the higher the frequency.? That would not align with the higher power outputs on the higher frequencies, so I do not think that will help.

As a note for future reference, please include the frequency, as specifying only the band can be vague for boundary conditions.
