Grounding of the radio and some cores on the microphone cable may help. ?But make sure the calibration is right first. ? ?

This is what it looks like when I stretch in and out the coiled mic cord.
Vertical lines are when it's stretched.
I don't have to speak in order for it to do this, nor do I see any difference when I speak. So while I can see where this might be a RF on the mic cable issue, wouldn't It still show something when I talk into it?
