1) not only are the calibrations transferable, my version uses the same locations to read and store the calibrations, so once you have a working calibration, you shouldn't have to recalibrate at all if you decide to use my software
2) no. The stock software doesn't support the manager, and that's not a feature I added
I can't answer 3&4 because I don't have any experience with nextion screens. Related: you'll need to use the KD8CEC software if you use the nextion screen - there's no support for it in my software.
