I have a question I hope someone can help me with. I assembled a Ubitx V.5, and everything seems to work
except no receive.
It transmits cw and? mic. If I hook another transceiver to another antenna, it hears it with 1 watt being transmitted.
When I hook the Ubitx to a receive antenna, it sounds like a receiver with the antenna disconnected.
I can hear some birdies, and some are loud. But, no signals even on 20 meters FT8 frequency.
I checked with an ohm meter from the coax center connector to TP1 and have continuity
I do not have a scope, or RF signal generator or a frequency counter right now.
I know that limits my troubleshooting ability greatly. I used to have all that equipment, but sold it years ago.
I could possibly borrow the equipment.... Any help would be appreciated.... Maybe something simple.
