Well it is working. I had Steve send me the radio. Sometimes you can just sense the frustration.
I found that R88 and r87 were both cracked. How did that happen? Also cut out the overheated melted power wires and changed the power connector around as the black was going to +12v. and red to ground. Now the color code is standard.?
I thought that the frequency and bfo calibration were excellent.
?As I mentioned, the add on boards are removed but the radio does work. When you get around to reinstalling the extra boards be sure to physically mount them into the case rather than have them float around in the case.?
