Replying to myself here now that I've re-read Jim's post, looks like once the V5 code gets the V6 keyer, then all of my previous comments are mostly moot anyway... The new pins on the adaptor board take care of the keyer, and then PTT and key share the existing PTT line.? A6 becomes an open (digital or analog) pin.
