I tried to minimize the changes in my branch, so the frequency format function is probably from Ashhar's original software. There's an issue for it posted here:
I'd recommend you create a pull request for the change you're proposing, since that's the normal way to do this sort of thing, or barring that, you could post the code in that issue's comment thread. Posting it here is better than nothing, but it's also a) not specific to the screen speed branch I made, and b) likely to get lost in the email threads.
