So at this point we have a replacement unit pulled to the side for you out of the latest production batch if that is what it comes to again thank you for taking the time to poke at it to try to find out whats wrong!

Can you check that the unit is getting 12v Power and 5v power as marked.

I am confused and concerned as to why its not making any difference when the AGC is in the off position and the RF in/Out are shorted which would be equivelent to the AGC removed.? I have marked the off position as well just for clarification.

On a strong signal with the antenna connected the S meter pad just tickles my auto ranging meter, basically nothing there. Without a antenna there is nothing, 0.
