No, I bought a ts-430s cheap because it was broken on transmit and it turned out the finals were shot - one of the finals transistors was a dead short -? and a resistor got 13.8V 20A through it. It didn't blow any fuse cause it had JUST enough resistance to current limit itself but it definitely caught fire.
