Re: Bitx 40v3 Diagram

Unfortunately, the link to download the Bitx40 schematic as a pdf from hfsignals.com is broken.
Not to point a finger, but somebody should fix this.
From hfsignals.com, click "Bitx40", and then "Circuit Description", then the link
just below the inline schematic, but I get a 404 error.
Attached is my local copy of the Bitx40 schematic pdf.
I was able to verify that v3, v4 and v5 of the uBitx are all available from the website as pdf's.

There is only one version of the Bitx40 board from hfsignals using surface mount parts.
Early boards starting around mid 2016 went out with an analog VFO, which proved a bit too unstable.
Starting in late Dec of 2016, all Bitx40's went out with a Raduino VFO into DDS1 using the si5351,
and L4 was removed from the board to disable the old analog VFO.? ?
Also, R106 removed, C103 removed, L5 is just a wire short, diodes D15, D16 became a single Bat54s dual diode.
All that happened in Dec 2016.? No further changes since then, except the Raduino now ships
with a bottom connector more suited to the uBitx.?
All Bitx40 Raduino's have shipped with the same firmware since 2016, an upgrade either v1 or v2
from Allard is highly recommended once you get the board working:??

Howdy;
?I am having difficulty on finding board level documentation for the Bitx 40 v3 board I have. Searches keep coming up with small color diagrams that I cannot enlarge enough to see. What I have here is a Bitx that I am working on that has a large solder splash on the area of Q12 abd I would like to know what is affected so I can attempt repairs.
?Appreciate any directions there is.
