I have a V4, and although it has enough output wattage for headphones, the volume pumped out of the speakers (even when running a 16ohm speaker) is a little wimpy.
So i bought the AdaFruit 2130 (?.? My first guess was to just put it just in front of the speaker and adjust its gain. Figured I didn't need to take a chance on blowing my ear drums out by putting it in front of the wiring that goes thru the headphones and then (if nothing plugged in) to the speaker.
Is there any better suggestions or experiences?
