If you use the CW offset option (which really should be the standard setup) mentioned above, then both you and the station you are working will be on the same indicated frequency. Offsetting the receiver allows you to hear the CW tone (otherwise you would be zero beat and hear nothing), so when that option is checked the uBitX acts just like most commercial radios and displays the transmitter frequency of both parties, while shifting by your preferred CW note so you can copy, and it will make no difference to the transmitter frequency if you are on UCW or LCW.
