I have two V5 boards and both are quite different as to spectral purity.? See my two threads with analyzer screen shots.
I tried touching inductors while the rig was keyed in all of the tests and I did NOT see any changes in power out or harmonic levels in either of them.? The first one was built on an open, aluminum chassis and the 2nd one in a mostly shielded case with bottom, front and rear panels bonded together and all paint scraped from around holes in the painted surfaces to insure good ground contacts.? That one fared much better in the harmonic tests (except for 80/40 meters) than the open frame one did.
