The goal is to experiment with digital for short distance point to point data exchange. Just a fun challenge to take on and learn in the process. I now see that many modern digital technologies such as WiFi use a form of Phase Modulation. So I'll dive a little deeper into that and see if there is any significant advantage over what we typically use on these bands (SSB and FM).
