that earlier message was because I was not sleeping earlier this Nz am as Iwent to bed too early so I had a look for unanswered emails.

You may get better Rx? ( and of course it affects Tx quality too ) but wait and see.? ?if you dropped the skit 1350 Hz lower you might be right but? what I said about?
using the? ?square wave on the? ?Tx/Rx modulator coil still stands - there are? RF harmonics going in that should not be and? you can' t expect much from that part,? given those conditions.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aAeOBNorTX4? ?; something that does work well on the audio.. but frequency limited .? The basic cost using a surplus minor is about same as uBitx .

add $ 30 for one of Hans Summer's 10 W? Linear amp kits ( plus of course an attenuator and some LP filters ).

Re: [BITX20] ubitx v4 poor Rx audio #ubitx

Thanks all for the input. I re-tuned the BFO by 1350 Hz and the spectrum looks much better now.
But between propagation conditions, my antenna, and lack of time, I wasn't able to check ssb voice reception with the new setting. Will do that soon!
thanks,
