I agree with Toms first statement.
However, the point regarding test equipment I think should have some caveats. Here in Tucson we have a maker space with a full electronics lab including equipment for smd work, an oscilloscope, and I believe a spectrum analyzer. For a nominal donation or joining as a member anyone can use it. I also believe local hams probably do also as TAPR is in Tucson.?
That may not be true for every ham in the US but in that case I refer to the first point Tom made. I have seen so many people talking about its not possible to get ahold of test gear when I suspect some have the same options.?
