Hi,
I have completed my planned modifications for my radio by taming that million decibel sidetone (with surgical implant) and have successfully installed the CEC software. I am getting the hoped for results. Thanks to KD8CEC for the effort he put in and to him and all the others with helpful comments on getting it all running. I found quite a few stumbling blocks getting, installing, and running all the pieces but at each step I just looked up what people have already posted about it and made it all the way to the end:)
I'll still be around to help in whatever small ways I can and watching the progress of the internal filter mods. When something usable comes along I will probably install it in my radio.
