Hi, I'm the other poster who had the same problem.
I think we have been given bad Raduinos. I'll tell you
why.
After making sure the voltage drops from 5v to 0
as the troubleshooting suggested, it still would not work.
Or it works intermittently as we both observed.
So I tried to upload the CEC software update, and my
Raduino's nano board refused to sync when uploading
the new sketch from the Arduino software.
I get the dreaded
"avrdude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x00"
message.
My linux logs show that the nano is seen on the usbtty0 port,
so I know my linux drivers are in order.
So, I think we have bad Raduinos. Mine says uBITX V4.3 and I bought
it in July 2018. We seem to have purchased around the same time.
Everything works except cw and software uploading.
So that is my observation. I won't be able to do
anything more until I can order a few new nano's to
test with. Unless the experts can suggest something.
I would suggest seeing if you can do a software
update on your Raduino's nano. If you can't, then that
may very well be the problem.... bad nanos.

Joe
I just posted this issue as well before I saw this message on topic.? I have exactly the same problem.? Voltage does drop to zero when contacts are closed.? Has anyone been able to debug this issue if it is the Arduino?? Thanks Jeff
