?if you were determined, you can do some fancy rewiring near the relay and fix even that problem.? ?I think glenn preferred to do it that way.? ?For me, I'll just us a bit of tiny coax for that particular relay since its cable will span a couple or 3 inches.
Drove me nuts when I realized exactly how those relays were wired......

Good catch on the filter with the feed end being "the other end".
Looks like a plan and has enough of a shot to accomplish the desired?
goal of clean enough.
