Allison,? I think you are saying my graphic is OK.? The graphic is for pre PA driver stages only.
It's based on your post # 56854 The actual filter type in each case, could well vary, but the graphic is a way for me at least, to visualise just what the issue is.
I simply used your own terminology in previous posts re "compact LPF". I know what you meant. ? I'm certainly no engineer but I can't see any problem using effectively 2 x similar or same filters separated by several gain stages..
I'm not saying that the code can't be done to achieve the filter switching, I am saying that several developers will need to be convinced to do so in the common good, following an agreed to hardware solution and also that a suitable PCB, and possibly able to be aligned in the case of the 15M band, can be? easily built . Obviously somebody has to do this board also.?
